Star Constellations

For this activity you need to use the websites below to read and find out about some different star constellations.

Next choose the constellation that you find the most interesting.

Now search online to find a picture/diagram of the constellation pattern. It might look something like this:



Using black paper and star sequins, recreate your pattern so that it looks like the one above.

Stick your work into your topic book and answer these questions:

1. Why did you choose this star constellation? 

2. What do you particularly like about it?

3. What is the story behind your constellation? (research it and retell it in your own words)
